Because our honeycomb comes to you exactly as it sits in the hive, the wooden frame includes thin support wires that help the bees build strong, even comb. These wires are a normal part of traditional beekeeping and completely safe when handled with care. Simply cut around them when serving, or lift out pieces of comb as you go. This is the most authentic way to enjoy fresh honeycomb in its natural form, just as the bees created it.
